Will vitamin supplements cause any side effects prior to a surgery?

Hey friends. I’m considering a tummy tuck procedure in Barrie. I have booked an appointment next week with my surgeon. While going through many pages, I came across a page which says vitamin E supplements should be avoided prior to the surgery. I take them daily. That site haven’t described anything about why it should be avoided. How can a vitamin supplement cause any harm to the surgery? It would be really great if someone could explain me the scientific reason behind it. Thanks in advance!
