Without a prescription you can get 10,000 IU, 25,000 IU, and 50,000 IU on the internet
Vitamin D Life guesses that the cost on the internet is 1/10 to 1/100 that of the prescription form

UK doctors are allowed to prescribe up to 4 capsules per day ==> 3200 IU

It mentions animals have problems with 4-15X the human dose,

but fails to mention that humans can have 10,000X that amount as a single dose

UK Recommended dose for pregnant women is 400 IU = one every other day

US research has found that 6400 IU is the right amount for pregnant women

Calcium warnings

They say that MORE Calcium should be taken with vitamin D, instead of LESS
