As an undergraduate I recall that we were always marked down in our essays and dissertations for not properly covering and referencing the literature. You would think that in a review such as this, where the aim is to assert a healthy/natural level of 25(OH)D you would have to cover the literature fully and weigh the evidence properly. One must agree with Dr. William Grant that a different protocol for weighing evidence of causality and efficacy in the case of nutrient metabolism must be used, otherwise we will be here till "doomsday", in the mean time people are dying.
